Preventative Maintenance
Our preventative maintenance services are offered to residential homeowners and businesses. Preventative maintenance includes inspecting the wiring, changing the hoses, checking and changing filters, as well as changing batteries in your thermostat.

Keeping your system clean allows it to run more efficiently. Avoid being caught off guard when your system malfunctions for unnecessary reasons.


Commercial Refrigeration

Our commercial refrigeration service consists of new installations for restaurants and florists, and includes ice machines for a variety of businesses. We also do repairs on all types of commercial refrigeration units. Our technicians are certified to work on all commercial refrigeration units.

A Letter From One of our Satisfied Customers

As part of the year-round community here on LBI, we hold a special affection for this place. We have chosen to live her all the time, as our only home. So when disaster struck, we still remained a “community” – communicating in everyway from near and far. “Who knows a good place that also takes dogs?” “Has anyone heard when we can actually move back?” “What’s the real story with gas, 6 days or 6 months?”

Most people were generous and kind with their efforts, while others, a few, became selfish and greedy. But the biggest question (and the biggest commodity) this past week was “Who has a good, reputable, certified, reasonably priced heating/plumbing contractor?”

After wandering for two weeks, we moved back and remained here in the cold. We called our long-time heating service contractor and he told us to let him know when the gas company came to our house and he would be out to connect us.

Five days later, we spotted that glorious tag on our gas meter. Hooray! We called and were astonished at the response we received. “Not today, maybe we can get to you in four days. We will try and squeeze you in. Do you know that we will be charging you between $400 and $500?”

All day, people were wandering around, looking for that elusive connection. Then, dear friends Elle and Bob Bard asked their heating man to help us out. Jeff Laurence did so without hesitation. In the cold, in the dark, he fitted that pipe. It took a while to get it right. He was NOT going to leave us in the cold. Then he also helped my neighbor and all at a very reasonable price.

Of course, Jeff Laurence of Laurence Heating will now be our guy too. He is, what we call in our family a real “mensch”!
